Located in Washington, DC at the neighborhood of suburban site that is surrounded of woodlands, Nevis pool and garden pavilion by Robert M. Gurney Architects is exotic small house for retreat at the holiday. The site is containing of natural tress and a large garden with green slope grass land. The best site for cool garden pavilion that is located at pool side. In this case, the small house is able to be used for outdoor party at day and night with family and friends. Pool pavilion is built with stone wall and terrace that is located behind the existing house. New path was built to be strong interact and connection between the main house and the pavilion.
Openness floor plan is created while the interior is consisting of stainless steel kitchen with several tools for dining, a long bench and two chairs forwards the fireplaces at small living room. Glass wall gives natural atmosphere and views at this space. Private space is created from stone wall that enclosed the kitchen area. Glass wall also gives maximize lighting of the sun and stars. It includes provide unlimited scenery of the natural environment.
Great architectural is provided from each element. Stone wall, glass wall, the structure of the landscape and woodland combine and blend so magnificent of a small retreat at pool side in the middle of green garden. Both of fascinating gardens with outdoor pool and natural surrounding are easy to catch and enjoy at this exotic pavilion.
Wonderful pavilion architectural consists of natural woodlands, great stone wall, bright glass wall, wonderful outdoor pool and large garden with flowers and green grass. All elements combine so perfect and exotic for interesting living place in modern life style. From the site plan above there is long new square pool as a part of pavilion architecture. The pavilion consists of two bathrooms, stainless kitchen with seating and small living space that is completed with fireplaces. Openness space comes from glass wall at the living room and glass door. Even the private space is located at bathrooms and kitchen that is protected by stone wall.
Garden pavilion interior design provides warm atmosphere with wood element of the flooring and the wall. Bright interior comes from maximize lighting of the sun that is easy to enter through the glass wall. Rumford fireplaces and heated floors provide comfortable atmosphere at the winter. Spacious space is provided with open floor plan. It is nice shelter for years.
Pool pavilion interior is designed for cozy retreat at backyard. Glass door gives warm welcoming for each guest who get inside the pavilion. Minimalist furniture provides generous space at this small garden house. Pool, garden, the existing house and the woodlands integrate in harmonious atmosphere.
Two bathrooms are completed the architectural of the pool pavilion. All space in the pavilion is designed and completed for comfortable shelter or small house.
