Pitsou Kedem Architects has finished to design contemporary apartment from an old and historical building in Israel. This residential home has ancient architecture including the interior and exterior. The architects built the building with no changing of original architecture. Splendid modern apartment comes from an old building above the harbor and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea at west side. It is located in Old Jaffa. Splendid and modern living place is able to create from historical building design with no changing of the original architecture design. Stone wall exposure showed at historical building in Israel. This place has renovated and turn into modern apartment. Minimalist construction style was applied in this residential home. Original material of stone and beach sand also maintained in here. This 100 square meters residential home was designed with open floor plan. Living room, kitchen and dining space are not separated by wall or another divider. Original structure, characteristics, stone wall and segmented ceilings exposure with so strong. The main idea is how to blending an old and modern style to create cozy living place and suitable with modern urban life style. And it is successful result.

Jaffa apartment is modern residential with vintage interior design. It is facing Mediterranean Sea at west side and consisting of two floor. Ar the first floor. there is large arch glass door also serves as warm window as an access into the balcony. Through the balcony, owners can enjoy the sea views and harbor at under the building. There is also a stair to enter the second floor. Minimalist interior applied at the living room. There is a long sofa chair and single sofa armchair which are offering cozy seating while is reading and relaxing. Stone wall and flooring give strong character of an ancient building design.

Old and rustic interior applied at thus apartment. Open floor plan provides wider space. Stone pillars support and produce strong construction of this residential. Dining space and kitchen were located in same area. Simple interior decoration applied to maintain the original building architecture concept. Calm color was chosen for furniture. White and gray increase a great harmonious with the stone wall.

Ancient architecture design showed so strong through the interior and exterior. Aesthetic style looks so fascinating from the layout and design of the apartment. Natural sun light offers bright space at day time. Even the yellow lamps give calm light at night. From the living room, guests can see the other rooms of dining and kitchen space.

At second floor there is master bedroom which is designed with modern style. White color decorated the space. Bed, table lamp, ceiling lamp and other furniture were chosen in clean white. Shower glass enclosure installed at the bedroom. Sea and sky landscape are easy to catch through the glass windows and door. At outside there is balcony with low glass fence. Relaxing under the sky feels so cozy while is lie down at the outdoor day bed.

It is splendid balcony at contemporary apartment. At here, dramatic sea and harbor landscape are easy to be enjoyed. Tall wooden door protects the indoor space when it closed. Historical building architecture is maintained with the original structure, construction, and material. The interior and exterior have outstanding appearance with the stone wall. Simple renovation was done to blend the old design and new style of city life style.
